Group Sessions

Group sessions are offered for children, adolescents, and adults. Based on the needs, goals and abilities of the group, each session is structured with the intention of building physical and/or emotional skills that can be transferred to the student's home, work, or school settings.

 

Groups often experience intrapersonal and interpersonal growth through interacting with others in a safe, structured, and cooperative setting that encourages trying new poses or practices.  Individual barriers are often broken down with immersion into a common experience that fosters bonding and a shared sense of accomplishment. Based on the type of group, students may be encouraged to reflect and express thoughts and feelings to assist in the integration of mind-body experiences.
